Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Production Worker to assemble reconditioned products. You will follow established procedures, adhere to safety standards, and ensure quality throughout the line in a fast-paced setting.

Working under a shift supervisor, you will be responsible for safety, waste reporting, and teamwork, with opportunities for growth as part of a forward-looking packaging company in Winnipeg.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required or accepted.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production standards.
  • Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training.
  • Able to understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Troubleshoot problems and report issues promptly.
  • Work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble reconditioned products following established procedures.
  • Maintain safety and quality throughout production.
  • Notify Production Lead when stepping off the line to maintain safety/quality.
  • Report all production waste or issues to the Lead or Supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

Job Description

The Production Worker is under the direction of the shift supervisor and will primarily be responsible for assembly of reconditioned products using established production procedures, following safety protocol and adhering to company’s quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
  • Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
  • Performs all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements
  • Responsible for safety and quality throughout production
  • Responsible for notifying a Production Lead or Supervisor when they step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
  • Reports all production waste/issues to Production Lead or Supervisor
  • Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
  • Follows all company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
