Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Canada is seeking a hands-on technician to support extrusion operations. You will set up and troubleshoot machines, monitor quality and manage materials to keep production flowing.

The role requires knowledge of plastics processing, certification as a forklift operator, and the ability to work 12-hour continental or 8-hour shifts with flexibility. You will maintain a clean, safe work area, adhere to H&S policies and GMPs, and collaborate with a team dedicated to

Qualifications

• Sound troubleshooting skills with a strong mechanical background.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and related techniques for maximizing manufacturing and distribution of goods.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including designs, uses, repairs and maintenance.
• Must be a certified forklift operator, or willing to achieve certification.
• Understanding of injection molding and plastics processing.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; self-motivated; able to work without supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail.
• Shift flexibility, with the ability to work overtime; 12-hour continental and 8-hour shifts if required.
