Job summary

Olymel in Canada is seeking a Food Processing Labourer to support our plant operations. You will contribute to quality, safety, and efficiency of our production process in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.

Schedule includes Day (7:00–15:30) and Evening (15:30–00:00) shifts with starting wages at $19.67/hour plus a $2.00/hour evening premium. Work in a refrigerated area at about -4°C and handle raw meat products.

The Role, Your Impact

As a Food Processing Labourer, you play an essential role in the smooth operation of our plant. Every day, your work contributes directly to the quality, safety, and efficiency of our production process.

More specifically, you will:

• Transport, weigh, inspect, and package products.
• Work in various departments throughout the plant, including processing, packaging, cutting, and sanitation.
• Perform other related duties required to support daily operations.
• Follow quality, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.

Schedule

• Day (7h00-15h30) and evening (15h30-00:00) shifts available.

Starting Wage

• Labourer: $19.67/hour
• Evening shift premium: $2.00/hour

Salary Increase

• Wage increase following the successful completion of the probationary period.
