About Gerdau

The ideal candidate will:

1. Be able to work 12 hour shifts rotating days/nights (continental style schedule)
2. Work 40 - 42 hours per week with a pay rate of $34.67/hour
3. Learn more senior positions within department and provide relief for absences
4. Advance to more responsible positions based on seniority

Qualifications:

1. This position requires physical labour, standing all day and being exposed to outside temperatures
2. Experience working in a manufacturing setting
3. Experience working with mobile equipment
4. Ability to operate an overhead crane would be considered an asset
5. Ability to work in a team environment
6. Possesses excellent communication and strong math skills, has a high attention to detail and has a good work ethic
