Job description

Job Title: Production Associate
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay: $22.00/hour
Location: Harvester Road and Morris Drive, Burlington
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent hire

This is a long-term position at a fast-paced production facility located in Burlington that specializes in metal casting, fabrication, and finishing. We're seeking candidates with extensive experience in production or manufacturing environments, particularly candidates who are proficient with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments. We are looking for candidates who can interview and start as soon as possible!

Job Duties:
• Working in the Keel finishing room, using hand and power tools for grinding and fairing
• Follow safety protocols and wearing proper personal protective equipment
• Using a roller to paint finished products
• Organizing and maintaining cleanliness of the shop
• Assisting in the casting department
• Maintaining product quality
• Other general labour duties as assigned
• Operate a forklift safely around the facility

Candidate Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment
• Experience with hand and measurement tools - air sanders, grinders, etc.
• Comfortable lifting 50-60lbs repetitively
• In-house or third-party forklift license preferred
• CSA Safety Shoes Required
• Strict adherence to safety protocols - (showers required at the end of each shift - no exceptions)

• Must be willing to provide a criminal record search
