Job description

Job Description:
  • Perform all aspects of engineering duties in support of material and end-item production.
  • Perform engineering calculations supporting process design, equipment configuration, and process condition establishment, including mass and energy balances, heat transfer, and pump sizing.
  • Analyze existing or planned equipment and processes for optimization, modifications, and maintenance.
  • Conduct market research and collaborate with client procurement to acquire necessary equipment.
  • Prepare, review, and edit technical documentation such as SOPs, drawings, and P&IDs.
  • Perform engineering, safety, and quality control analyses.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including quality testing and manufacturing departments.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering or related field (minimum GPA of 3.0).
  • At least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience, including manufacturing development, CAD, PAD, or small parts manufacturing.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills, with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
