A leading broadcasting company in Canada is seeking a Production Designer Editor in Moncton. The role involves designing and establishing video editing and visual effects across platforms, requiring proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Avid Media Composer. This role requires full time on site presence.
Your role
As a Production Editor/Designer, you will design and establish the continuity, pace and artistic/technical elements that make up the editing and visual effects of products for a variety of platforms, lending unique, original added value to them in order to fulfil the desired objectives and artistic intentions.
To this end, you must plan all phases of visual-effect editing, development and creation, assessing the work and time required so that you can propose a schedule in line with production needs.
You will also prepare, transport, set up, operate, dismantle, put away and maintain technical equipment/material, ensuring it is in good, clean and safe working order. Knowledge of different camera types such as EFP, ENG, iPhone, is a plus.
Please note that you will be required to work different shifts, mainly on weekdays but also on weekends.
