Job summary

THE·TEAM in Canada is offering a Production Design Intern position on our Creative + Content team. You will support in delivering creative for Canada’s largest brands, collaborating with Designers, Art Directors, Project & Resource Managers, and account teams.

You will gain industry experience in a fast-paced agency environment, developing organization and a keen eye for design details while wearing multiple hats to support the team. This 3-day in-office hybrid role is paid at $18.15/hour.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator).
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Solution oriented troubleshooting of problems as they arise with internal teams and suppliers.
• Exceptional organizational skills, especially with file management and archiving.
• Experience reviewing vendor specs and following trafficking requirements.
• Confident multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce files based on supplied specifications for print, digital, social and event materials
• Work and collaborate with Art Directors, Designers and Developers
• Exhibit knowledge of general design principles and apply them to all work (layouts, colours, typography, hierarchy, etc.)
• Make requests, changes and adjustments to files
• Prepare materials for teams and clients including (but not limited to): proofs, mocks, slugs, etc.
• Ensure that all files are organized and filed according to studio guidelines
• Provide on-going analysis of studio process and recommend protocol and workflow to improve efficiency and quality of work
