Job summary

Tourmaline Oil Corp. is a senior Canadian crude oil and natural gas exploration and production company. We are focused on long-term growth through an aggressive exploration, development, and acquisition program in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in administering the Prodview application and validation of volumetrics with TOU stakeholders
  • Assist in new well setups, measurement equipment setups and general configuration in Prodview
  • Provide application support to Prodview stakeholders on a day-to-day basis
  • Assist Production Accounting when required with volumetric discrepancies, proration issues, etc.
  • Assist in creating streamlined workflows including but not limited to New well setups, flow changes and rig scrubber moves
  • Assist in creating Power BI reports to satisfy data requests from different business groups

QUALIFICATIONS

  • An undergraduate degree or diploma in Accounting, Business, Science, or certificate in a technical field would be considered an asset
  • Analytics and/or production operations knowledge would be beneficial
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to self-prioritize tasks
  • Team player with a proven ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines and demonstrate sound judgement
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills are necessary to engage with stakeholders and employees at all levels throughout the organization
  • Able to work independently within a small team environment
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Power BI knowledge would be considered an asset
