Job description

Reports to: Winnipeg Plant Manager


Cooperates with: Production, Accounting, Sales, Shipping, Vendors


Primary Responsibility: Coordinates production activities for the MIRATECH Winnipeg facility, primarily focused on logistics and employee engagement, assisting the plant manager with administrative tasks.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage WIP jobs, material issuing, and backflushing parts.
  • ERP part number & bill of materials setup/maintenance.
  • Prepare all required shipping paperwork to include but not limited to BOL, packing slips, and commercial invoices.
  • Coordinate & schedule all US and international shipments.
  • Ensure MIRATECH international shipments comply with export regulations.
  • Administer safety training for the workforce and promote a safe work environment.
  • Assist with employee engagement, onboarding, and ongoing employee support.
  • Various administrative tasks such as printing drawings, submitting reports, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products.
  • ERP experience, Syspro preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
