Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Production Control Expeditor to join the Data, Power and Control > Power, Access & Control > Server Technology in Reno, NV. Under direction of the Production Control Manager, the Production Control Expeditor will independently support all efforts related to the execution of the daily Production Schedule. The Expeditor is expected to utilize system tools and processes to ensure that the production supply chain is effective in meeting the needs of internal and external customers while maintaining required delivery and inventory goals. The Expeditor has a significant impact on customer service and production activity and therefore must be a creative thinker with sound decision-making ability that acts with the customer in mind. The Expeditor will ensure that all assigned duties are performed with the highest quality, quickly, efficiently, and according to the established departmental and company policies, procedures, and goals. The Expeditor, as with all members of the Server Technology Team, is expected to promote a positive work environment, demonstrate initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and exercise confidentiality.
What Will You Do?
Required Skills
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of related experience within the supply chain function, preferably in planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
