Job summary

Canadian Linen & Uniform Service Corp. in Oakville is seeking a Cleanroom Laundry Operator to join our facility. The role involves folding, inspecting and packaging uniforms in a cleanroom environment and ensuring accurate handling of garments.

You will work in a fast-paced setting, stand/walk for long shifts, and must meet safety standards. Prior industrial laundry experience is preferred, and English work instructions are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Ability to work assigned shift; attendance is required.
• Basic math reasoning skills.
• Lifting ability: up to 25-50 pounds continuously; Push/Pull ability: up to 150 pounds assisted.
• Able to stand/walk/sit for 8-10 hours a day.
• Capable to work in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating temperatures and loud noise levels around machinery.
• Must be able to adhere to safety standards.
• Prior experience in an industrial laundry or production environment preferred.
• Capability of understanding work instructions in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fold, inspect and package uniforms.

• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting specified quality standards in terms of rips, tears, holes, and stains; Accurately verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type.
• Places bundles in correct storage bins, carts, or shelves.
• Maneuvers full and empty baskets; Maintains a safe and clean work environment and observes best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
