Job summary

Daiken North America Ltd in Huntsville, ON is seeking multiple dependable Production Associates to join our manufacturing team. You will help meet our production schedule while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality in a collaborative environment.

We offer competitive compensation starting at $24.84 per hour with a 12-hour rotational shift including days and nights, plus extended health care and a registered pension plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment (an asset).
• Experience in a wood mill environment (an asset).
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends.
• Overtime availability required.
• Reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on the production floor with consistent speed and accuracy.
• Ensure production requirements and standards are met consistently.
• Follow procedures and work instructions for all product types.
• Identify materials, determine and verify quantities.
• Increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
• Operate machinery and maintain it with care.
• Report machinery issues to management.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Observe safety guidelines and report concerns.

In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production schedule is met on time, while observing the highest standards of safety and quality.
