PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE - SUMMER STUDENT CONTRACT

Pay: $18.50/hour • Day Shift 6:00AM to 2:30PM

Position Overview

North Star Windows & Doors is seeking a motivated individual with a safety mindset and a commitment to growth to join our Production Team. Responsibilities include:

• Perform assembly tasks such as drilling components and placing parts.
• Handle materials, including slab and glass installations, using power tools and equipment.
• Use measurement tools for accuracy and conduct quality checks.
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain production records and collaborate to improve processes.
• Experience with CNC machinery is a bonus.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience in general labor, construction, or manufacturing (preferred but willing to train with a positive attitude).
• Ability to stand for 8 hours, lift 30-50 lbs, and handle materials manually.
• Experience with power tools and measuring tools, and basic math skills.
• Must be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and eligible to work in Canada, 18 years or older.
• Availability for day shifts, overtime, and Saturday shifts as required.
• CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots required.
• Ability to remain standing, crouching, or bending for long periods.

Schedule

• Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with overtime and Saturday work when required.

Location: 20 Can-Ar Gate, Woodbridge, ON
