Job description

We have the privilege of partnering with many of North America’s largest retailers. This position reports directly to Inovata Foods’ Production Supervisor.

Inovata Foods Corp. is looking for a full-time production associate to partner with us as we bring families and friends together through offering wholesome and convenient meals. The role is located in our Tillsonburg, Ontario facility. Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of wholesome control brand frozen meals for many of North America’s largest retailers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
  • Place trays on the assembly line.
  • Fill trays with ingredients, spread sauce, layer cheese, etc.
  • Put lids on trays or feed trays through the sealer machine.
  • Rack product, or feed trays into spiral freezer and boxing machines.
  • Pack finished product into correct boxes.
  • Place finished goods on the designated pallet.
  • Provide relief to other line personnel.
  • Assist other departments if needed.
  • Notify supervisor of any safety, mechanical, or material concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all company food safety programs including GMP’s to produce the highest quality product for our customers.
  • Performs all other appropriate tasks as instructed by Production Supervisor

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a product development position, restaurant or food science field.

Working Conditions:

We strive to help our team members maintain a positive balance between life and work. This position has daily exposure to a food processing environment which includes dampness and cold. Position may require varying start times and extended working hours with occasional weekends to facilitate customer presentations and attendance and production trials and first runs.
