What does a Production Associate do?
The Production Associate is responsible for the line packaging of liquid chemical products, ensuring accurate fill rate and correct packaging components. Responsibilities include:
- Working in the staging area or on a production line packaging liquid chemical products, ensuring accurate fill rate and correct packaging components
- Line set-up and general cleaning of production area
- Reporting quality issues to a supervisor
- Completing all production line checks
- Proper recording on work orders (packaging materials, labour, quality checks)
- Maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work area
- Working effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Following all standard operating procedures
- Adhering to safety guidelines and procedures
- Operating all equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions
- Performing other duties as assigned
What do you need?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a factory or production environment (asset)
- Knowledge of health and safety best practices in a factory, production, or warehouse environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines and productivity goals
- Teamwork skills
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for 6-7 hours, bending, crouching, climbing, reaching)
