As a Production Associate at QXO, you’ll gain hands-on experience in operations and sales—learning from top managers and developing into a future leader.
What you'll do:
- Assist the operator during the cross-cutting and fabrication of tapered insulation products
- Lay out materials according to custom cutting specifications
- Handle and process various heavy insulation materials, including Polyisocyanurate, Expanded Polystyrene, Extruded Polystyrene, and Roxul Mineral Fibre
- Support the accurate coding of cut products for easy reassembly on the roof
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation by performing end-of-day cleanup at assigned stations
What you'll bring:
- Ability to read and use a tape measure and interpret imperial measurements accurately
- Comfortable reading AutoCAD drawings and understanding technical layouts
- Experience operating a counterbalance forklift
- Skilled at working independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- Able to perform under pressure and demonstrate initiative and leadership when needed
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Safe and confident in the use of hand and power tools
