About the role

Eli is looking for a Production Associate. Your primary responsibilities will be to:

1. Prepare and conduct chemical processing for manufacturing, including reagent preparation, material handling, and batch production, while ensuring consistency and adherence to production protocols.
2. Perform quality control (QC) checks to verify compliance with specifications and maintain accurate records of batch preparation, QC results, and equipment calibrations.
3. Assemble product components according to specifications, ensuring efficiency, product quality, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Management System (QMS) guidelines.
4. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory and production equipment, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
5. Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods to support continuous production and minimize downtime.
6. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through routine maintenance and strict adherence to safety protocols.
7. Participate in daily and weekly team meetings, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a collaborative work environment.
8. Run troubleshooting experiments, analyze data, and present findings while developing innovative solutions to manufacturing challenges.
9. Ensure high-quality work and organization while producing large batches at a rapid pace, maintaining excellent wet laboratory and manufacturing etiquette.

About you

1. You have a High school diploma or equivalent.
2. You have a desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive environment.
3. You have the ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, with flexible hours depending on demand.
4. You have strong attention to detail and time management skills.
5. You have strong reading comprehension and basic math skills and have the ability to read and interpret documents such as batch records, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
6. You have proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
7. You are able to follow instructions for operating equipment and maintaining required records.
8. You are able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.
9. You are capable of lifting 30 pounds.

Why you’ll love working at Eli

1. You have a Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
2. You have 1+ years of wet lab experience, including 1+ years of laboratory experience beyond the classroom.
3. Experience working with various assays (e.g., LFA, ELISA, immunoassays, in vitro diagnostics [IVD], point-of-care diagnostics, rapid diagnostic tests, paper-based sensors, biosensors, microfluidics, bioconjugation, nanoparticle conjugation, and antibody purification).
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
5. Proficiency in data entry and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Drive).
6. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment with shifting priorities and performing repetitive tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.
7. Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
8. An asset if you have experience in early-stage startups or fast-paced, high-growth environments.
9. Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS), adhering to work instructions, and accurately completing record forms to ensure compliance and traceability.
