Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Springhill, Nova Scotia is seeking a dedicated manufacturing associate to contribute to daily production with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. You will work on the shop floor, adhering to safety specifications and procedures while meeting production targets in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with team members to maintain clean work areas, report waste, and follow all policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production standards.
• Understand plant safety guidelines and complete required safety training.
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and be on feet for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Performs assignments according to safety specifications, instructions and requirements.
• Demonstrates ability to meet production standards within required time.
• Maintains clean and organized work areas.
• Reports production waste to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Ensures safety and quality throughout production and notifies leads when stepping off the line.
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must work well in a team environment
• Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
