Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturer of handmade bath and beauty products in Vancouver, is hiring experienced Production Assistants to work in a fast-paced environment.

Start date: ASAP

Full-time morning shifts: 7am to 3:30pm

Wage: $17.44/hour + applicable shift premiums

MUST HAVE CSA-approved safety shoes and be able to work full-time!

Job Duties:

  • Assist in producing high-quality soap products.
  • Perform dexterous tasks such as filling and pouring liquid raw materials from jugs into molds and pressing products accurately with precise measurements.
  • Require strong hand dexterity for pressing mixes.
  • Handle heavy jugs filled with liquids; physical strength is necessary.
  • Pack products and label packages correctly.
  • Pay attention to details, adapt quickly to changing duties, and collaborate with team members.
  • Follow packing and shipping instructions according to department guidelines.
  • Support peers with daily duties while ensuring safety and SOP compliance.
  • Conduct daily inventory counts, product rotation checks, and investigate inventory discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Available for full-time shifts. Students on a 3-4 month drop can apply.
  • Flexible to work across different departments and start ASAP.
  • Confident in basic mathematics, including addition and subtraction.
  • Capable of physical work for 8-hour shifts, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable with consistent attendance, punctuality, dependability, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in English: reading, writing, and speaking.
