Job summary

Smartrend Manufacturing Group (SMG) Inc is seeking a Production Assistant to join our manufacturing team to assemble lifesaving patented technology on the production line. You will work with hand tools, power tools, and machinery to meet daily targets with accuracy and efficiency.

You will interpret blueprints and specifications, apply mechanical and electrical assembly techniques, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with fabrication using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise assembly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspections and quality control.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration and issue reporting.
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical assemblies considered an asset.
  • Experience with gasketing, fine detail sealing, or related techniques considered an asset.

THE POSITION

The Production Assistant will be responsible for producing high-quality products on the manufacturing line for our innovative lifesaving patented technology. As part of a skilled team, you will work together to meet daily targets. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Experience with mechanical and electrical assemblies, as well as gasketing or sealing techniques, is an asset.
