Job summary

Smartrend Manufacturing Group (SMG) Inc. in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Production Assistant to join our fast-growing manufacturing team.

You will work on the production line using hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components for our lifesaving patented technology, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will collaborate with a skilled team to meet daily targets, interpret blueprints, and apply mechanical and electrical assembly knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspections and QC.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication for collaboration and issue reporting.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical assemblies (asset).
• Experience with gasketing or related sealing techniques (asset).

THE POSITION

The Production Assistant will be responsible for producing high-quality products on the manufacturing line for our innovative lifesaving patented technology. As part of a skilled team, you will work together to meet daily targets. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Experience with mechanical and electrical assemblies, as well as gasketing or sealing techniques, is an asset.
