Smartrend Manufacturing Group in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Production Assistant to join our manufacturing line for our lifesaving patented technology. You will work as part of a skilled team to assemble components, using hand tools, power tools, and machinery, and to meet daily production targets with accuracy.

The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspections and quality control.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration and issue reporting.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical assemblies considered an asset.
• Experience with gasketing, fine detail sealing, or related techniques considered an asset.

THE POSITION

The Production Assistant will be responsible for producing high-quality products on the manufacturing line for our innovative lifesaving patented technology. As part of a skilled team, you will work together to meet daily targets. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Experience with mechanical and electrical assemblies, as well as gasketing or sealing techniques, is an asset.
