Job description

• Be able to identify poor quality products
• Demonstrate the ability to be flexible in product handling and machine attending, including regrind related responsibilities. Perform required post molding operations and packaging of products
• Be co-operative and supportive with coworkers
• Constantly maintain a clean, tidy, organized and safe working area
• Be responsible for warning or reporting to the Supervisor on failures and malfunctions in equipment and machinery
• Provide assistance where and when required
• To handle other assignments as directed by the Shift Supervisor or Lead Hand.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment through compliance to H & S policies.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Requirements :

• Must be physically able to fulfill the responsibilities of the job classification through good manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail, including colour distinction
• Prior experience in plastic manufacturing, such as injection and / or blow molding, is considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a cooperative environment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good mathematical and organizational skills
• Shift flexibility is a requirement with an ability to work continuous (24 / 5) and / or continental (12 hour shifts / 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights) shifts
