Job description

As a Production Assembler, you will assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations. You will prepare parts for testing, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. You will perform complex machine set up and identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary. You will be responsible for proposing measures to increase productivity and efficiency.

Shift: Monday through Friday; 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

A Day in The Life of a Production Assembler

As a Production Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and calibrating fabricated parts, or units to meet product specifications. You will identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair them as necessary.

  • Propose measures to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Perform simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations
  • Inspect and test work for quality
  • Perform and log scheduled preventative maintenance of production equipment
  • Determine sequence of operations, materials required, and procedures needed
  • Stage job materials for production according to procedure
