Job Posting Description:

This role is Hybrid - #LI-Hybrid

Do you love crafting design solutions that inspire and delight? Reporting to the Senior Manager, Creative Studio, you will use your artistry to produce creative page layouts, final arts, presentation mock-ups and image editing for our Marketing Team's promotional and business initiatives.

About the Role

  • Provide rock-star creative design solutions within an established design framework for print catalogues, brochures, signage and other digital material.
  • Build layouts for both digital and print applications, provide revisions and prepare final art for production using Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Provide professional image editing and file preparation for large format printing.
  • Provide static and motion graphics for digital channels.
  • Build templates for automation workflow to continuously improve the production process.
  • Maintain an up-to-date library of design templates and Studio digital asset archive.
  • Prioritize concurrent projects to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Traffic digital assets within the Marketing team.
  • Liaise with external pre-press vendors to troubleshoot pre-press and FTP issues.

About You

  • Extensive experience as a production artist/graphic designer in the publishing industry and/or a degree in a related field.
  • Detailed knowledge of print production, InDesign data-merging, PDF and web workflows, and FTP file transfer procedures.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of MAC OS and Microsoft Office Suite for Mac.
  • Advanced knowledge and proven ability using Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Basic knowledge of using After Effects.
  • Proven ability to set priorities, meet changing deadlines, and work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail with good aesthetic/design sense.
  • Familiarity with the LCBO Brand Guidelines and AODA requirements.
