Job summary

Sofina Foods Canada is seeking a Production Analyst to support the Production department with administrative and analytical tasks, ensuring data integrity of the plant’s production reporting in line with corporate standards.

You will prepare daily and weekly production reports, maintain Oasis records, manage SharePoint uploads, analyze yields and productivity, and coordinate with Planning/Scheduling and hourly staff to explain deviations in efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Able to communicate orally and in writing in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and intermediate knowledge with Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and distributes daily and weekly production reports for the various departments.
  • Create, and maintain SWPs.
  • Manage all records within the Oasis Crew Guide.
  • Daily administration of reliability reporting, including upload to SharePoint.
  • Complete downtime charting, reporting and creation of files;
  • Input production data to support daily reporting systems;
  • Provide analysis of yields, productivity metrics and loss;
  • Scan tickets for Production, complete production log sheets and values;
  • Consolidate dump reports for further analysis;
  • Support WIP inventory counts;
  • Liase with Planning/Scheduling department;
  • Communicate with Plant Supervisors as well as hourly personnel to identify causes for deviations in production efficiencies as identified by daily reporting;
  • Perfoms adhoc projects as assigned.

Key Accountabilities
  • Prepares and distributes daily and weekly production reports for the various departments.

  • Hiring Range: CAD $51,158 - $63,948
  • Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus up to 5% of base salary subject to the plan terms and conditions.
  • Please note that the expected hiring range provided is derived from a group of like roles within Sofina. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, skillset of the candidate and internal equity.
