Job summary

ITM Mining Solutions is seeking a Product Support/Field-Service oriented professional for field-based support in Fort McMurray. Regular regional travel and remote-site support are part of the role, with a 14 on/14 off rotation and extended shifts as required.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in mechanical or field-service roles within mining or heavy equipment, and hold a technical diploma or equivalent. Strong diagnostic skills and safety focus are essential for success in remote environments.

Required Experience

• Minimum of five years of experience in a technical, mechanical, quality, product-support or field-service position.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Travel to customer, distributor and remote mine-site locations as required.
• Work extended shifts, including 12-hour days, when necessary.
• Work a rotational schedule of 14/14
• Work indoors and outdoors in changing weather and industrial conditions.
• Walk or stand for extended periods and safely navigate uneven surfaces.
• Climb equipment access systems and work safely around large earthmoving machinery.
• Bend, kneel and perform physically demanding inspection activities.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and satisfy respirator-fit requirements.
• Comply with all company and customer safety, site-access and regulatory requirements.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel by vehicle and commercial aircraft.
• Ability to work in remote locations and access active mine sites.
• Successful completion of required background checks and applicable drug and alcohol screening.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required site orientations, safety training and certifications.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel when needed, including occasional short-notice assignments.
