Location : Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, or Vancouver.

Role Overview : The Product Specialist supports the product management team with daily activities and manages some tail spend products. This role is vital in executing business strategies, supporting sales, managing costs, and maintaining supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Support NexPrice TPC base price and MQU administration.
  2. Negotiate costs and prices with suppliers.
  3. Prepare and maintain supplier/product reports.
  4. Participate in projects for efficiency and optimization.
  5. Maintain supplier grids for key chemistries.
  6. Guide internal teams on business decisions.
  7. Set up new products for launches.
  8. Communicate product information timely.
  9. Manage daily operations of assigned products.
  10. Serve as the main contact for pricing issues.
  11. Provide product and market updates.
  12. Participate in supplier meetings.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or sciences.
  • 3-5 years in sales or purchasing in chemicals or related industry.
  • Experience in cross-functional coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Professional and positive image.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; SAP and Salesforce preferred.
  • Willing to travel (~15%).
