Product Specialist – Gutter Connected Greenhouse Structures

We are seeking a Gutter Connect specialist to support our sales team with estimates, drawings, designs, and product listings.

Responsibilities

  • Create project-specific bills of material listing all parts required for manufacturing, purchase, and shipping.
  • Prepare project-specific installation instructions.
  • Prepare engineer-stamped drawing packages.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing drawings and part numbers.
  • Assist production with quality and manufacturing issues.
  • Prepare quotations for structures and benches, collaborating with sales to understand requirements.
  • Review, complete, and store all quote requests.
  • Create proposal drawings for pre-sales.
  • Update calculation and quote templates.
  • Review and improve current structure and parts designs.
  • Standardize and organize drawings.
  • Enhance efficiency using templates, ERP, and CAD software to reduce processing times.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives based on Lean principles.
  • Assist in manufacturing process improvements as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Structural/Civil or Mechanical) from an accredited university.
  • Proficient in analysis software, Inventor, Vault, and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and steel design practices.
  • Experience with inventory management in an ERP system.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand manufacturing processes.
  • Professional demeanor with timely communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and practical mindset.
