THE TEAM
The mission of the Materials Department is to deliver a portfolio of materials that fulfill the creative design vision.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Materials Department is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for bringing Aritzia’s product to life through the fabrics we use and trims we source. You will play a pivotal role in identifying and procuring high-quality trims that achieve Creative’s vision and deliver on our customer’s needs for each product. THE ROLE
As the Senior Manager/Manager, Trims, you will lead the team to:
• Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience
• Determine the approach for sourcing trims that fulfill the design vision
• Secure the best possible quality trims against defined standards, using industry leading practices
• Secure the best possible lead times for trims without compromising quality
• Secure the best possible trims margins without compromising lead-time quality
• Ensure the high quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery of all trims prior to finished goods production

THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Senior Manager/Manager, Trims has:
• Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in trims sourcing and production negotiation
• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
• The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
• A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
