Job summary

Air Canada is seeking a highly motivated Technical Analyst - Management Systems to join the IT team and support the sales product management portfolio. You will translate business objectives and customer needs into clear, testable requirements and concrete solutions.

Working with Sales, Digital Solutions, and SaaS partners, you will help deliver capabilities that support sales growth and agency experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
• At least four years of experience in business analysis, technical analysis, product delivery, or related roles.
• Proven ability translating business needs into functional and technical requirements for complex solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguity and communicate options.
• Ability to communicate clearly with business and technical audiences and facilitate alignment.
• Experience with requirements definition, process modeling, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping, interface analysis, and traceability.
• Practical knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience supporting testing, defect triage, UAT, release readiness, and production issue analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Leaders to understand product vision, roadmap, and KPIs.
• Lead business and technical analysis for sales-related capabilities from discovery to implementation.
• Define and validate requirements through interviews, workshops, data analyses, and presentations.
• Translate needs into features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data flows.
• Assess current methods, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for adoption and efficiency.
• Coordinate with architects, developers, QA, delivery teams, and external partners.
