Job summary

401 Group of Companies in Peterborough is seeking energetic automotive sales professionals. You will sell new and used vehicles, manage client portfolios, and participate in extensive training programs across Ontario.

Open availability Mon–Thu 9am–8pm, Fri–Sat 9am–5pm, with earnings between $70,000 and $100,000 per year depending on performance. Draws twice monthly and achievable bonuses are offered to top performers.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we train all employees on an ongoing basis.
• Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• OMVIC license is an asset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to identify wants and needs and build relationships.
• Create relationships through phone consults and in-person meetings.
• Conduct sales and leasing of vehicles following dealership procedures.
• Familiarize yourself with competitive products.
• Monitor leads and schedule appointments.
• Close sales by negotiating price and completing contracts.
• Explain warranties, services, and financing options to customers.
• Follow up after delivery to maintain relationships for future purchases.
• Follow OMVIC & MVDA regulations.

Location: 1370 Chemong Rd Peterborough, Ontario K9H 0E7 (Subaru)

Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 per year

Earning potential is based on your ability to sell effectively.

Hours: Open availability Monday to Thursday 9 am to 8 pm, Friday and Saturday 9 am to 5 pm

What You Will Be Doing:

• Work with customers to identify their wants and needs based on approval rates
• Create relationships through phone consults and in-person meetings
• Conduct sales and leasing of vehicles in accordance with dealership procedures
• Familiarize yourself with competitive products
• Monitor DealerTrack for leads
• Schedule appointments with customers
• Close sales by overcoming objections, negotiating price, completing sales/purchase contracts, explaining/offering warranties, services, and financing
• Demonstrate vehicle features by explaining characteristics and capabilities
• Follow-up with customers after delivery of their vehicle to ensure that they are satisfied and to maintain the relationship for future purchases
• Follow all OMVIC & MVDA regulations
