Product Sales, Power Generation Equipment Opportunity Summary:

We are seeking a Product Sales Specialist for Power Generation Equipment who will service customers seeking emergency standby and/or prime power generation solutions. The successful candidate will have sales experience in related industries such as commercial electrical contracting or electrical power generation, and experience selling energy solutions.

Job Duties:

  1. Manage customer relationships to achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within an assigned sales territory or account.
  2. Sell company products and services by developing new prospects and accounts.
  3. Achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Develop relationships to generate customer goodwill and loyalty.
  5. Conduct negotiations according to company guidelines.
  6. Identify, research, and contact prospective customers to build positive relationships that generate future sales and repeat business.
  7. Respond to customer concerns about the company and its products.
  8. Provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced sales representatives.

Work Experience & Qualifications:

  1. At least 2 years of relevant sales experience and/or equivalent industry experience.
  2. Technical background in generators, engines, and related components is highly preferred.
  3. Basic to intermediate technical knowledge required to perform the job successfully.
  4. Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  5. Strong work ethic and high motivation.
  6. Competent knowledge of business software systems, such as BMS, Microsoft Office, and Lotus Notes.
  7. Excellent organizational, written, verbal, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Customer service focus with experience in customer problem resolution.
