Job summary

Myticas Consulting is seeking a Product & Pricing Architect to lead senior functional and solution design for SaaS-based banking products and pricing. The role partners with customers and internal teams to translate complex objectives into scalable architectures.

You will guide enterprise integrations, REST APIs, data mapping, and implementation dependencies while mentoring consultants and leading small teams. Hybrid work is supported in Toronto, Canada.

Qualifications

Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Product & Pricing Architect to provide senior functional and solution leadership for the implementation of SaaS-based banking product and pricing solutions.

In this role, you will partner with customers and internal teams to understand complex business objectives and translate them into scalable functional solution designs. You will provide direction across implementations, ensuring solutions align with platform capabilities, implementation standards, customer requirements, and industry best practices.

You will act as a trusted functional and solution advisor to customer and internal stakeholders while providing leadership and guidance to consultants and implementation teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong banking product and pricing expertise, enterprise SaaS implementation experience, and preferably experience leading at least a small team.

What You'll Do

• Lead complex business discovery, requirements, solution-design, and architecture workshops with customer stakeholders.
• Translate customer business strategies, product structures, and pricing requirements into scalable functional solution architectures.
• Own and provide direction for the overall product and pricing functional design across implementations.
• Lead fit-gap analysis and recommend solution approaches aligned with platform capabilities, customer objectives, and implementation best practices.
• Provide functional and architectural guidance across banking products, pricing, fees, rates, offers, and relationship pricing.
• Ensure functional designs remain consistent and scalable across multiple projects, workstreams, and implementation teams.
• Review and guide key implementation deliverables, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, solution designs, and testing strategies.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and implementation teams to resolve complex functional and solution-design challenges.
• Provide functional direction for enterprise integrations, REST APIs, data mapping, and implementation dependencies.
• Guide solution configuration and validation to ensure alignment with approved functional architecture and customer requirements.
• Provide senior functional leadership throughout testing, defect resolution, solution demonstrations, training, and implementation readiness.
• Identify and proactively manage solution risks, dependencies, design gaps, and implementation challenges.
• Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and serve as a functional and solution advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Lead and guide consultants and implementation team members, with experience leading at least a small team preferred.
• Mentor consultants and promote knowledge sharing, delivery consistency, and functional best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of product and pricing implementation standards, methodologies, and reusable practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant senior-level experience in Functional Consulting, Solution Consulting, Business Architecture, or Solution Architecture within Banking or Financial Services.
• Deep understanding of banking products and pricing, including areas such as deposits, lending, cards, fees, rates, offers, and/or relationship pricing.
• Strong experience leading customer discovery, requirements, fit-gap, and solution-design workshops.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable functional solution designs and architectures.
• Experience delivering or supporting enterprise SaaS application implementations.
• Experience working across multiple projects or implementation workstreams.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Product Management, Engineering, implementation teams, and customer stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of implementation deliverables, including functional specifications, process flows, user stories, solution designs, and testing strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, stakeholder-management, and influencing skills.
• Ability to provide functional leadership and solution direction to implementation teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to resolve complex functional, solution-design, and implementation challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team of consultants or implementation professionals.
• Experience mentoring and developing consultants.
• Knowledge of cloud concepts and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience with REST APIs, enterprise integrations, and data mapping.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration and delivery tools.
