What you will accomplish with us

As a Product Owner, you will be at the center of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Critically analyze and evaluate new processes and their integration into our financial systems.
  • Collaborate to define and prioritize project activities.
  • Translate the vision into business objectives to deliver projects within budget and timelines.
  • Manage the product backlog and develop Epics, Features, and User Stories with the team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and the client during execution.
  • Oversee the delivery plan and assess the impact of scope changes.
  • Support business units during the implementation of new processes.
  • Work with the business architect to define delivery and testing strategies.
  • Act as a leader and subject matter expert for the project team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is recognized for leadership, autonomy, and strong communication skills.
  • Stands out for analytical thinking and political savvy.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Has at least 7 years of experience, including 2 years as a Product Owner.
  • Is fluent in French (spoken and written).
  • Advanced level of English required as the role involves interacting with colleagues and partners across Canada on a weekly basis to manage product backlog, define project priorities, and ensure alignment between business needs and delivery teams.
Assets:
  • Experience in banking and/or accounting projects.
  • Knowledge of SAFe methodology and continuous improvement practices.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Oracle ERP Cloud.
