Description

A Product Owner with endeavors to be a trusted technology and business advocate. They support our clients in their journey to implement technological solutions. This role will provide insights and direction to Lantern’s clients, utilizing best practices when gathering business and technical requirements. Their core skills set an example for junior members and they contribute significantly to delivery and quality assurance for project scope. They are capable of leading multiple engagements, providing consulting to clients, and mentoring team members. A Product Owner is expected to have extensive professional consulting experience, preferably in a custom software development or modern work consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Help our clients realize their technology solution ambitions through leading discovery workshops focused on creating and delivering innovative solutions.
• Work with clients to understand and document requirements in a way that aids our delivery team in creating top-tier solutions.
• Lead envisioning, design, and planning workshops to understand current states and envision future states.
• Write project specifications and user stories from the user's perspective.
• Create acceptance criteria for user stories and conduct quality assurance testing prior to client acceptance testing.
• Prioritize features for development backlog.
• Collaborate with the Product Design team to create quality deliverables.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Conduct Knowledge Share sessions with the Client Experience team.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 6-8 years of Product Management experience in Agile environments with a successful track record.
• Proficient in requirements gathering, including workshops, user research, and roadmap planning.
• Knowledgeable in Product Design Thinking related to custom software development.
• Competent in quality assurance testing methodologies.
• Excellent in written and verbal communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Mastery of Agile delivery methodologies.
