You will own epics, write user stories, and maintain acceptance criteria while coordinating with multiple teams to balance priorities and risks. This role offers strong autonomy and impact across a complex product suite.

I’m working with a growing financial technology business that is looking to hire an experienced Product Owner to support the continued development of its core platform.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who is strong at turning business needs into clear product requirements, working closely with engineering teams, and owning initiatives through to completion.

The successful person will sit between Product, Engineering and business stakeholders, helping translate priorities into executable development work while maintaining strong ownership of the backlog and delivery process.

What the role looks like:

• Owning product initiatives from requirements through development, testing, and release
• Breaking down broader objectives into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Managing and prioritizing the product backlog in Jira
• Running backlog refinement and planning sessions with engineering
• Working closely with developers to resolve blockers and keep delivery on track
• Managing multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities
• Coordinating dependencies across different teams and workstreams
• Validating completed functionality against requirements
• Communicating progress, risks, and delivery priorities to stakeholders
• Supporting user-facing workflow improvements across a complex financial technology platform
• Working independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability

• Strong experience as a Product Owner or in a closely related Product Management role

• Background in financial services, fintech, trading technology, or another complex software environment
