Technical Product Owner

Position Summary

We are seeking a technical product owner to support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our supply chain systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Order Management Systems (OMS). You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and third-party vendors to ensure the successful development and implementation of features that enhance supply chain operations, inventory visibility, order processing, and fulfillment efficiency.

This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain workflows and agile methodologies. Experience with WMS and OMS platforms is preferred. Familiarity with solutions such as Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, or other enterprise supply chain technologies is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for supply chain system initiatives
• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined and aligned with business goals
• Collaborate with supply chain, warehouse, logistics, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Partner with engineering and vendor teams to deliver product increments through iterative development cycles
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an agile delivery team
• Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria and maintain a prioritized backlog
• Ensure seamless integration between OMS, WMS, ERP, and third-party systems
• Conduct impact analysis and work with QA to define and support test plans and UAT
• Monitor system performance and work with teams to address incidents, root causes, and optimizations
• Stay up to date on supply chain technology trends and best practices to inform roadmap decisions

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a product owner, business analyst, or similar role supporting supply chain or enterprise systems

Strong understanding of supply chain operations including order fulfillment, warehousing, logistics, and inventory management

Experience working with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe

Proven ability to write user stories, manage backlogs, and facilitate agile ceremonies

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, and data flow mapping

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with WMS and / or OMS platforms

Experience with enterprise supply chain software such as Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, or similar

Agile certifications (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO / PM)

Background in retail, manufacturing, e-commerce, or logistics industries

Experience working with cloud-based platforms and modern system architectures
