Job summary

Slalom is seeking an AI Coach, Senior Consultant to help clients modernize product operating models and accelerate AI-enabled outcomes. You’ll contribute to transformations across strategy, delivery, and product management in a hybrid Toronto-based setting.

Expect 5+ years in product management or agile roles, hands-on SAFe/Scrum, and familiarity with AI tools. The role emphasizes facilitation, collaboration, and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, agile coaching, or related roles with at least 1 year in consulting or client-facing positions.
• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe ) and product management practices.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in product development workflows.
• Working knowledge of product operating models, value stream management, or lean portfolio management concepts.
• Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or team ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Initiate maturity assessments of product organizations and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
• Infuse AI into the product lifecycle and help evaluate AI solutions for workflows.
• Develop process maps, org charts, role definitions, playbooks and training material.
• Lead workshops and training on agile practices and product management.
• Identify value streams and guide cross-functional teams through adoption of new ways of working.
• Track progress with metrics, dashboards, and adoption indicators.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and support proposal development.

Job Title: AI Coach, Senior Consultant (For Vacant Role )

Slalom is seeking talented consultants to support organizations through modernization of their product operating models and ways of working including accelerating product results by enabling the P DLC with AI. As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in our Modern Product Organization capability, you'll contribute to transformations that reshape how organizations build, deliver, and evolve products and services in the modern era, working in one or more of these areas:

• Architecting Modern Product Operating Models– Help design value-centric organizational structures, governance frameworks, and operating rhythms that enable cross-functional teams to deliver customer value at scale and with speed, including Product Operating Models for AI Products, Data Products, and Platforms as Product
• Integrating AI into Product Strategy and Product Management– Help clients integrate AI throughout the product delivery lifecycle, from idea or need to realized value, accelerating learning and results through experimentation and validation
• Organizing Around Value Streams– Support the design and execution of transformation strategies that reshape how organizations structure, fund and operate their product portfolios
• Implementing Lean Portfolio Management– Assist in establishing systems that connect strategy to execution through value stream funding, portfolio governance, and metrics that optimize investment decisions and value delivery
• Enabling Enterprise Agility– Support organizations in adopting scaled agile frameworks and practices that optimize flow, minimize dependencies, and foster continuous improvement and outcome-focused delivery

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will support client engagements across the transformation lifecycle. Responsibilities may include activities such as:

• Assess Maturity of Product Organizations- Perform organizational assessments, analyze current state processes and structures, gather stakeholder input through interviews and surveys, and synthesize findings into actionable insights
• InfuseAIinto the Product Lifecycle–Identify and enableAI tools and capabilities,assistin evaluating AI solutions for product workflows, support pilot programs, and help document AI best practices
• Developing frameworks and deliverables- Create documentation including process maps, organizational charts, role definitions, playbooks, training materials, and presentation decks that support transformation initiatives
• Facilitating workshops and training- Lead team-level workshops, deliver training sessions on agile practices and product management techniques,facilitate retrospectives and planning sessions, and support change adoption activities
• Implementing transformation initiatives–Identify value streams and shape cross-functional teams, help establish cadences and practices, optimize tools and systems, and guide teams through adoption of new ways of working
• Tracking progress and outcomes- Collect and analyze metrics, create dashboards and reports,monitoradoption and performance indicators, and identify areas for improvement
• Contributing to team success- Collaborate with engagement teams, share knowledge and lessons learned, support proposal development, and continuously develop your own skills and expertise

What You’ll Bring

Experiences &Expertise:

• 5+ yearsin product management, agile coaching, scrum master, or related roles with at least1 yearin consulting or client-facing positions

Hybrid/In office:

We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader or client re quires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations/requirements

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the expected base salary pay range is $107,000 to $131,000. In addition, there is potential for a 10% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
