Since 1998, LGM has supported over 1,200 Canadian franchised new car dealerships, backed by leading automotive brands including BMW/MINI, Kia, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar/Land Rover, Mitsubishi Motors, Polestar, and Motorrad.

The Job

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for LGM products in support of corporate goals. The role involves:

  • Working with the strategic insights team to conduct market research, identifying customer needs and preferences.
  • Developing product positioning and messaging to differentiate our products.
  • Creating go-to-market plans, including launch strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborating with sales and product teams to create sales enablement materials.
  • Measuring and analyzing marketing campaign effectiveness and adjusting strategies accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis & Strategy
  • Review market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement product marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
Messaging & Positioning
  • Craft compelling product messages that resonate with target audiences.
  • Ensure consistent product messaging across all marketing channels.
Go-to-Market Execution
  • Plan and execute product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful implementation.
Sales Enablement
  • Develop materials and tools to support the sales team.
  • Create communications to help sales convey product messaging and value to dealers.
Performance Measurement
  • Establish marketing goals, KPIs, and tracking based on past performance and forecasts.
  • Report on project progress and KPIs to stakeholders.
  • Own the tracking and measurement of performance metrics (ROAS, lift, etc.) and provide insights for optimization.
Required Skills
  • Proven experience in product marketing within B2B and B2C environments.
  • Strong understanding of product management and marketing dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic thinking ability.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and partner effectively across departments.
Education
  • Post-secondary degree in marketing, business administration, or related discipline.
Experience
  • 8-10 years of marketing experience.
  • Experience in insurance or the automotive industry is an asset.
