The Job
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for LGM products in support of corporate goals. The role involves:
- Working with the strategic insights team to conduct market research, identifying customer needs and preferences.
- Developing product positioning and messaging to differentiate our products.
- Creating go-to-market plans, including launch strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborating with sales and product teams to create sales enablement materials.
- Measuring and analyzing marketing campaign effectiveness and adjusting strategies accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis & Strategy
- Review market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and implement product marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
Messaging & Positioning
- Craft compelling product messages that resonate with target audiences.
- Ensure consistent product messaging across all marketing channels.
Go-to-Market Execution
- Plan and execute product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful implementation.
Sales Enablement
- Develop materials and tools to support the sales team.
- Create communications to help sales convey product messaging and value to dealers.
Performance Measurement
- Establish marketing goals, KPIs, and tracking based on past performance and forecasts.
- Report on project progress and KPIs to stakeholders.
- Own the tracking and measurement of performance metrics (ROAS, lift, etc.) and provide insights for optimization.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in product marketing within B2B and B2C environments.
- Strong understanding of product management and marketing dynamics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic thinking ability.
- Proven ability to collaborate and partner effectively across departments.
Education
- Post-secondary degree in marketing, business administration, or related discipline.
Experience
- 8-10 years of marketing experience.
- Experience in insurance or the automotive industry is an asset.
