ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Product Marketer, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering compelling narratives that resonate with banks, asset managers, and fintech companies. You’ll develop reports, marketing collateral, and thought leadership content across multiple channels—LinkedIn, Twitter, events, and more. Working with our product, sales, design, and comms teams, you will help shape the conversation around LayerZero’s product offerings, ensuring they speak to institutional client needs.

This position calls for a full-stack writer and content strategist—a professional who can think big-picture and also produce top-notch copy. You’ll:

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to establish marketing strategies and create consistent, high-quality brand messaging for institutions. This does not exist internally.
  • Research and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive products to shape go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new products.
  • Develop and refine pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and reports for institutional audiences with our BD team.
  • Own the content creation and have input on a publishing strategy for social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) while contributing to event materials, webinars, and industry conferences for all institutional content.
  • Measure, report, and optimize the performance of institutional marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and conversion.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead Institutional Narratives: Serve as the voice of the institutional customer and help define how LayerZero’s products are positioned and communicated.
  • Content Creation: Write compelling and accurate marketing collateral, including executive briefs, deep-dive reports, pitch decks, social posts, and more.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely inside the full narrative team, along with BD, UX/design, and product to ensure alignment in messaging and product launches.
  • Drive GTM Strategies: Build and execute the GTM approach for new releases and significant product enhancements relevant to banks, fintechs, and brokerage firms.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay on top of industry trends, institutional needs, and competitor activity to continuously refine and improve LayerZero’s positioning.
  • Performance Measurement: Track and analyze metrics to evaluate effectiveness, share insights, and iterate on marketing efforts.
ABOUT YOU
  • 2+ years experience in institutional financial services, fintech, or crypto product marketing (or a mix of analyst/research/content marketing roles with institutional focus).
  • Financial Products Experience: Background in capital markets, securities, custody, or corporate banking is a plus.
  • Powerful storyteller: Demonstrable experience building narratives in written, visual, and verbal formats.
  • Crypto Fluency: Familiarity with DeFi, onchain infrastructure, or the broader institutional crypto market.
  • Full-Stack Writer: Ability to produce compelling short-form and long-form content across diverse channels.
