Job Purpose :

This is a great opportunity to join the Vaccines Business Unit and being a key contributor in helping protect Canadian patients. The incumbent will lead commercial activities and tactics in the private market. This individual will report to the Marketing Manager and play a key role in leading the cross-functional team to success. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following…

  • Demonstrate strong team, communication, contribution & collaboration capabilities
  • Support strategic & operational plan development and execution with key internal brand cross-functional stakeholders
  • Display an innovative and agile approach to strategic operational implementation against brand key performance indicators
  • Lead operationalization of commercial projects / programs in collaboration with Marketing team & internal cross-functional and external partners (sales, agency partners, GSK marketing, operations and PAAB)
  • Lead the development and delivery of omnichannel promotional tactics and tools
  • Work closely with training partners and sales team to ensure alignment on brand positioning, plan of action, business strategy, customer segmentation and messaging to achieve brand objectives
  • Measure and track performance of key tactics and rapidly evolve content, channels, and promotional mix to drive performance and optimize strategic and operational plans
  • Lead teams to develop solutions to meet brand strategic objectives based on HCP insight and data
  • Provide ongoing analysis and identification of market dynamics that have potential to impact business and contribute to opportunity or mitigation planning and implementation
  • Manage A&P budget to ensure annual brand spends are tracked and on target
  • Collaborate internally across brands and BU to share best practices to optimize brand and organizational success
  • Develop effective working relationship with Global counterparts to ensure local alignment to Global strategies and plans, share best practices and continuously seek to learn and improve local business plans.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding and application of GSK code / values

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, Health Sciences or Business
  • 3-5 years of commercial experience.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, passionate, committed, invested in the business.
  • The ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment with the need to manage constant change.
  • Thinks ahead to be ready for change, re-plans quickly, deals with high levels of ambiguity.

  • This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at our office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience.
  • Experience in vaccines
