Product Manager – Senior

Responsibilities :
Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and ensuring that the product supports the company’s goals.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Product Management - 50%
- Extensive experience developing and owning product vision, strategy, and roadmap for complex IT systems.
- Experience leading dynamic, cross-functional teams in achieving common objectives through continuous design and delivery of user-centric products.
- Strong decision-making and prioritization skills.
- Proven success in managing all aspects of the product development lifecycle from inception to launch.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, principles, and processes.
- Extensive experience with Agile methodology, managing product scope, budget, and timelines.
- Experience translating product vision into epics and user stories, and managing the product backlog.
- Ability to assess and analyze customer needs, market trends, and build vs. buy decisions.
- Leadership and collaboration skills with design, UX, engineering teams, and external partners.
Technical Experience - 20%
- Curious mindset with the ability to understand complex technical concepts of the product.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams, diving into technical details, and leading technical discussions.
- Experience with modern technology stacks and integration with legacy systems.
- Managing complex privacy, policy, and security requirements throughout product design and delivery.
- Delivering products compliant with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and WCAG 2.1 AAA standards (minimum WCAG 2.0 AA in Ontario).
Communication - 30%
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills.
- Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with large, complex groups of stakeholders.
- Clear communication skills to convey ideas effectively without ambiguity.
Must Haves :
- Strong understanding of SDLC from inception to launch.
- Experience working in an agile environment, defining and managing user stories, and using tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- Experience with AI or integrating AI features into products.
- Strong planning and communication skills.
