Position Description

As Product Manager for Milwaukee’s Safety business, you will be responsible for implementing the strategy and execution for your category, including product lifecycle management, pricing, forecasting, new product launches, and go-to-market alignment.

You will work cross-functionally with sales, operations, brand, and product development teams in both Canada and the US to ensure alignment, visibility, and impact in the market. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a bias for action across both high-level planning and daily execution.

What You Will Do
Strategic Ownership & Category Leadership
  • Act as the face of your product category to internal (Canada and US teams) and external (distributor partners, end-users) stakeholders.
  • Execute national sales strategies, new product introductions, and lifecycle management.
Cross-Functional Product Execution
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Create and deliver compelling new product launch decks and end-user-facing content.
  • Coordinate prototype seeding strategies and communicate launches to internal and external partners.
Market Intelligence
  • Monitor competitive product activity and leverage insights to position and differentiate Milwaukee’s offerings.
Who You Are
  • Excellent communication skills with customers, end users, cross-functional teams, and your manager.
  • Experience executing sales pitches to major distributor partners, including planning meetings and PLRs.
  • Ability to set all daily pricing for your category.
  • Represent your category to US Product Managers and distributor partners through various engagements.
  • Plan and execute consistently across programming, pricing, forecasting, and new product launches.
  • Continuously improve your presentation skills.
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of sales or marketing experience, preferably within the power tool industry.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective business communication skills, broad market perspective, and market savvy.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport, with ability to travel significantly and regularly.
