Job summary

Eddyfi Technologies seeks a Product Manager – Portable Solutions (PAUT) to own the complete lifecycle of the PAUT product line. You will ensure the offering evolves with market needs, company priorities and customer expectations, shaping positioning and performance within our NDT portfolio.

Based in Quebec City with on-site work preferred and a hybrid option, you will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and sales teams, drive the roadmap, support product launches, and monitor market

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (physics, electrical, mechanical, or industrial) or BA in business administration.
• Minimum of 3 years of product management, technical sales, or application engineering experience.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and sales in a product development environment.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written; based in Quebec City.
• Experience with nondestructive testing solutions is a significant asset.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for PAUT devices in line with business objectives and market opportunities.
• Translate market needs into product requirements for R&D and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with application, manufacturing and supply chain teams to meet cost targets and ensure supplier qualification.
• Produce market analyses and monitor trends that impact product strategy.
• Define product positioning and lead launches with sales enablement and documentation.

This role is part of our ET/UT product line.

Reporting to the UT Product Management Director, the Product Manager – Portable Solutions (PAUT) will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of this product line.

He or she will ensure that the product offering evolves in line with market needs, company priorities, and customer expectations. He or she will contribute to the positioning and performance of this strategic product line within our non-destructive testing product portfolio.

The position is based in Quebec City; ideally, the candidate will work on-site, though a hybrid work arrangement is possible.

As a Product Manager – Portable Solutions (PAUT), you will have a direct impact on the following five areas:

Product Strategy and Roadmap

• Define and drive the evolution of the roadmap for standard PAUT devices in line with business objectives and market opportunities
• Identify opportunities to transform custom solutions into standard offerings and develop the associated business analyses

Cross-Team Execution

• Provide clear guidance to the research and development and engineering teams by translating market needs into product requirements
• Collaborate with application engineering teams to validate product performance based on real-world inspection scenarios and customer acceptance criteria
• Work with manufacturing and supply chain teams to meet cost targets, improve efficiency, and qualify suppliers

Knowledge of Eddyfi Technologies’ market and customers

• Produce and review market analyses based on discussions with users, technicians, inspection engineers, and other stakeholders to identify unmet market needs
• Monitor market trends, evolving standards, and technological changes that impact product strategy

Marketing Strategy and Support for Sales Teams

• Define product positioning, target customer segments, and key value propositions for each product family
• Participate in product launch activities as well as the development of sales support tools and relevant documentation

Portfolio and Performance Management

Review the performance of the product portfolio by tracking revenue, margin contribution, and results against established goals, and provide management with regular updates on these results

What makes you an asset to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (physics, electrical, mechanical, industrial) and/or a bachelor’s degree in business administration
• Training with a specialization in product marketing, product management, and brand management is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in product management, technical sales, or application engineering
• Experience working directly with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams in a product development environment
• Proactive approach to internal and external communications
• Professionalism and attention to detail
• Experience working for a manufacturer of nondestructive testing solutions is a significant asset
• Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written. The position is based in Quebec City and is part of a global business environment.
