Sanctuary AI, a world leader in building dexterity-driven Physical AI for general purpose robots, is looking to hire a skilled and motivated Product Manager, Physical AI and Software to join our Product Management team. The Product Manager is a crucial part of our team, supporting the development of software tools and products for internal and external customers.

As Sanctuary AI's Product Manager, you'll champion the evolution of our product discovery flywheel, focusing on building impactful software solutions that streamline and accelerate the work of our technical teams and external partners.

Success Criteria
  • Develop and own the off-robot software product strategy and roadmap to align with business goals and internal customer needs (ML researchers, robotics pilots, testers, and hardware engineers).
  • Build a deep understanding of internal workflows and user pain points, define product requirements, and deliver an initial roadmap to guide the evolution of our software products.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Robotics Operations, Hardware Engineering, and Executive Leadership to prioritize and deliver on product development initiatives.
  • Previous experience building software products for technical customers, particularly in robotics, machine learning, simulation platforms, system monitoring, or observability tools.
  • Hone your expertise in strategic product visioning, roadmap development, user research methodologies, and technical stakeholder management.
  • Communicate product strategies and updates effectively to executive leadership and broader teams, influencing prioritization and driving alignment across technical and business units.

Your Experience

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience building software for technical users.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Group Product Manager or in an equivalent leadership capacity.
  • Proven ability to identify market opportunities and create a compelling product vision that aligns with company strategy.
  • Experience conducting user research, analyzing customer behavior, and identifying pain points.
  • Track record of successful strategic planning and execution with cross-functional technical teams.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain a deep understanding of technical workflows and customer needs.
  • Expertise in gathering and analyzing user feedback and behavioral data to inform product development.
  • Solid understanding of technical concepts such as robotics, machine learning, simulation platforms or game engines, system monitoring, and platform observability, and can effectively collaborate with engineers and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Bias for action and a proactive, execution-focused mindset, with a strong sense of ownership from concept through delivery.
  • Above all else, a consistently positive attitude and a willingness to do whatever it takes to create robust solutions to mission objectives.
