Role Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to drive the success of our optical navigation consumables. This role is critical in shaping product strategy, conducting market research, and defining new solutions for both B2B and B2C medical consumables. If you are passionate about healthcare innovation and thrive in a fast-paced, global environment, we want to hear from you.

You will collaborate closely with global, cross-functional teams to develop and execute product strategies that meet market needs and drive revenue growth. You will predominantly focus on upstream Product Management, specifically market research and product development, for navigation consumable products. Additionally, you will work closely with fellow Product Managers to create comprehensive launch and growth strategies for consumables within both business-to-business and business-to-consumer models.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the strategy for our navigation consumables product line, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals.
  • Lead market research to deeply understand customer needs, competitive trends, and industry dynamics.
  • Define and shape the product roadmap, collaborating with engineers, fellow Product Managers, and key stakeholders.
  • Assist Marketing to develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies, including pricing, positioning, and messaging to drive product adoption.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and customer experience to ensure a seamless product launch and strong market penetration.
  • Engage with global teams to align product development and commercialization efforts across different regions.
  • Influence the future of navigation technology, leveraging NDI’s expertise to drive innovation in neurosurgery, spine surgery, and orthopedic surgery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years in Product Management or Product Marketing within a B2B and/or B2C medical technology company.
  • Medical Consumables Expertise: Strong preference for candidates with experience in medical consumables.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with computer-assisted or robotic-assisted surgery (especially in neurosurgery, spine, or orthopedics) is highly desirable.
  • Proven Track Record: Experience launching and managing products through the entire lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong analytical skills to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Results-Driven: A passion for delivering business impact through innovation and customer-centric solutions.
  • Strong Communicator: Ability to influence and collaborate across teams, from engineering to sales.

Why Choose NDI:

  • Generous employer-paid benefits package.
  • Company-wide bonus program and annual salary reviews.
  • Competitive salary with a Registered Retirement Savings Plan match of up to 4%.
  • Employee stock purchase plan.
  • It is common in many positions to work in a hybrid model, where flexibility and autonomy are supported by a combination of remote and in-office work.
  • Starting at 3 weeks’ vacation plus a company-wide Holiday shut-down in December.
  • Employee social and engagement events throughout the year.
  • Subsidized professional development and training opportunities.
  • A Waterloo Region 2025 Top Employer.
  • Growing global company with offices in Waterloo, Vermont, Germany, and Hong Kong.
  • Close to GRT and ION stops with free on-site parking.
