About Wayfair

Wayfair is one of the world's largest online destinations for the home. Through technology and innovation, we make it possible for millions of customers to find exactly what they need for their homes. Our teams combine creative problem solving, data, and industry-leading technology to build experiences that are useful, scalable, and measurable.

Who We Are

Wayfair's Media Platform is the central platform used across the company to manage the customer-facing media that powers our shopping experience. The platform supports the creation, storage, organization, governance, enrichment, association, and distribution of imagery, video, documents, and other rich media across customer experiences and business workflows.

What You'll Do
  • Understand the needs, workflows, and pain points of internal teams that create, manage, govern, and consume customer-facing media.
  • Define and prioritize reusable platform capabilities that create leverage across Wayfair, balancing immediate team needs with solutions that can scale to additional users, workflows, and channels.
  • Translate ambiguous problems into clear product plans, requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria that enable Engineering and Experience Design partners to move quickly.
  • Partner with Engineering on platform capabilities across APIs, user interfaces, bulk operations, integrations, automation, and operational tooling.
  • Help establish intuitive self-service experiences and sensible governance so internal teams can accomplish more without manual, one-off support.
  • Improve the quality, consistency, discoverability, and reuse of media assets across the customer-facing ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to define common patterns, shared data needs, and scalable workflows rather than duplicating capabilities across individual teams.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for your product area, sequencing near-term delivery alongside longer-term platform improvements.
  • Lead product delivery from discovery and requirements through development, testing, launch, adoption, and iteration.
  • Partner with stakeholders to prepare teams for launches, drive adoption, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Define and monitor product success metrics such as adoption, workflow efficiency, asset reuse, media quality, reliability, and support volume.
  • Use qualitative feedback, quantitative analysis, and self-serve data to validate assumptions, make prioritization decisions, and measure the impact of your work.
We Are A Match Because You Have
  • Have 5+ years of experience in product management or a closely related product, technology, operations, or strategy role.
  • Have built or managed platform products, internal tools, workflow systems, or shared services used by multiple teams.
  • Enjoy solving platform problems where the customer is an internal team and success comes from creating reusable capabilities that scale beyond a single use case.
  • Can demonstrate experience turning fragmented or manual processes into simpler, more scalable experiences through self-service, automation, better workflows, or shared infrastructure.
  • Are comfortable working with technical teams on APIs, integrations, data models, system workflows, and platform trade-offs.
  • Have experience with content management, digital asset management, catalog, merchandising, creative operations, or another domain involving high-volume media or structured content; this is a plus.
  • Are skilled at breaking down complex problems, identifying the most important decisions, and creating clarity for cross-functional partners.
  • Are data-informed and able to use metrics, analysis, and user feedback to guide product decisions and evaluate outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly with Engineering, Experience Design, Analytics, business partners, and senior stakeholders across a complex organization.
  • Are AI-fluent and AI-native in your ways of working, using AI thoughtfully to accelerate discovery, analysis, documentation, prototyping, and execution while creating greater leverage for yourself and your team.
  • Take ownership, follow through on commitments, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Are excited to learn deeply about a complex platform ecosystem and improve it over time.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
