We’re looking for a Product Manager for IoT Platforms and IoT eSIMs, who will be accountable for driving our IoT product. This critical role will leverage a candidate’s ability to balance their deep understanding of customer needs, technical background in networks/technology, and understanding of the IoT connectivity landscape across platform offerings/strategies and business units.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Manage the consumer self-serve portals for connected cars.
  2. Manage end-to-end product lifecycle including conceptualization, development, GTM launch, support, and sunset activities.
  3. Own the end-to-end customer journey and experience of the IoT platforms.
  4. Manage various new vendor contracts and addendums.
  5. Participate in governance forums for release of funding, executive presentations.
  6. Manage the connected cars solution requirements, roadmaps, and evolution.
  7. Work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions, even when working out of ambiguity or limited information and resources.

IoT eSIMs offerings:

  1. Execute on the connected cars, eSIM, and hardware roadmap including enablement of features/technologies, network enablement, feature enhancements, value-added services, and process improvements.
  2. Define customer needs, build business cases, secure funding, and collaborate with cross-functional teams: technology, commercial, marketing, sales, operations, legal, etc., to launch the product.
  3. Explore new partnership opportunities with IoT eSIM vendors to enhance our connected cars strategy, including evaluating partners, defining commercial agreements, and go-to-market activities leading to partnership launches.

Connected cars Strategy and Roadmap:

  1. Execute on the connected cars roadmap, including enabling features/technologies, network enablement, feature enhancements, and value-added services.
  2. Define customer needs, build business cases, secure funding, and work with cross-functional teams to launch the product.
  3. Identify and evaluate partners, define commercial agreements, and lead go-to-market activities for partnerships that enhance connectivity platform strategies.

Be the advocate for Sales and Marketing Support:

  1. Support marketing activities, including go-to-market strategies, communications, blogs, and customer-facing collateral.
  2. Assist sales teams with product training, act as the point person for the product, participate in customer meetings, and support deals.

What you will bring:

  1. Experience in launching telecom products, such as networks, features, and platform partnerships.
  2. Product management experience in industry and eSIM platforms.
  3. Familiarity with Cisco-Jasper Control Center, other Connectivity Management Platforms, and eSIM platforms is a plus.
  4. Technical background in e-SIM, IoT Networks, mobile networking, and mobile technology.
  5. Strong customer focus and business acumen with an understanding of connectivity and network technologies like VoLTE, eSIM, etc.
  6. Proven track record of launching products from start to finish, with the ability to drive prioritization and serve as a liaison between customers and engineering.
  7. Experience in developing business plans, including business cases, cost/benefit analysis, revenue potential, pricing models, forecasts, and contracts.
  8. Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for driving profitable growth.
  9. Strong interpersonal skills, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingualism is an asset.

Background checks, including criminal, and possibly credit and driver’s abstract, depending on the role, will be conducted to ensure safety, security, and compliance.
